Are you a music lover who gets excited about attending live events? Are these events way out of your price range? Do you get serious FOMO when you miss out on seeing one of your favorite artists play in your city? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we have some advice for how you on how you can score free tickets.

Here are some more techniques you can use to enjoy the show without breaking the bank:

  • Use your connections – See if any of your friends are brand ambassadors or have any connections that can score you a discount.

Brands and sponsors who host huge events and festivals often have brand ambassadors or brand ambassador programs. These people are responsible for promoting the brand and are often able to sell tickets at a discounted price through
platforms like the SocialLadder app.

  • Join a Fan Club – it’s the easiest way to connect with a music brand and their community!

Fan clubs offer more than an area to discuss your favorite song. They are engaging communities that often offer promotions, discounts, and even free tickets – not to mention the fact that you’ll be the first to hear any news regarding changes or giveaways.

  • Try and score a free seat upgrade – If the show is not sold out and you arrive early enough, you could turn a set of $50 nosebleed section tickets into $150 floor seat tickets.

Most venues have a guest services booth or ticket information desk inside the venue, so make your way over there and ask for a free upgrade. Alternatively, you may be able to find a venue worker standing outside of the cheap sections, just waiting to swap bad seats for good ones. It may seem unlikely, but if you succeed you’ll have scored yourself a night to remember.

  • Embrace the cheap seat lifestyle – the music is what really matters anyway.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter where you’re seated; you’ll have a great time regardless. Enjoy the experience! Sing along to your favorite songs. Scream at the top of your lungs. Make it a night to remember.
